Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Steadfast Bible Study (“Steadfast”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our iPhone and iPad app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
  • Profile information: an optional profile photo and display name.
  • Group content: groups you create or join, your role, meeting details, study plans, discussion posts and invitations you send, including the email addresses you invite.
  • Preferences: study preferences, theme and notification settings.
  • Device information: a push notification token if you allow notifications, and basic technical data needed to keep the app working.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account, send verification and password reset codes, run your groups and discussions, generate study plans you request, send meeting reminders you've turned on, respond to support requests, and keep the service safe and working.

3. AI-generated study content

When you create a study plan or ask for topic ideas, the options you choose (such as group size, focus, denomination and topics) are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the content. We do not send your name, email address or discussion posts for this purpose. AI-generated content may contain mistakes and should be reviewed before use.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run Steadfast, and only as needed for that purpose: cloud hosting, database and authentication; email delivery for verification codes and invitations; push notifications; and AI content generation. We may also disclose information if required by law. Other members of your group can see your name, photo, role and the content you post in that group.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, Delete Account. This removes your profile and the personal data linked to it. If you can't sign in, email privacy@steadfastbiblestudy.com from your account's address and we'll delete it for you.

6. Children

Steadfast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to what each feature needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update your profile, change notification settings or delete your account in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information. Email us to make a request.

9. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Questions? Email privacy@steadfastbiblestudy.com.
